The new year is a symbol of possibility. We wish to change and for our lives to go in a better direction but for that to happen we need to connect with the potential that exists within our minds. The profound tools of transformation within Buddhist meditation gives us the ability to become the person we wish to be.
Our weekly drop in meditation classes are the ideal opportunity to determine to let go of unhealthy and unhappy states of mind such as insecurity, fear and resentment and establish attitudes of acceptance, gratitude, kindness and joy, all of which empower our mind and give a sense of wellbeing. With such a positive outlook it is entirely possible that we will enjoy a happy and joyful new year, whatever that year may bring.
