This day of retreat at Akanishta Centre offers:
Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome tea and light conversation before gently transitioning into silence. The retreat will conclude with a final session to reflect, ask questions, and ease back into conversation.
A nourishing vegetarian lunch, snacks, and breaks for walking, resting, and reconnecting with nature will be provided.
Whether you’re new to mindfulness or an experienced meditator seeking deeper stillness, this retreat is designed for you. Please arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 AM for registration.
The day will be led by Guy Fforde, an experienced Kadampa Buddhist teacher who presents profound topics in a clear, practical, and accessible way. His warm and engaging teaching style makes it easy to connect with the heart of Buddhist wisdom and apply it to your own life.
