Purification Retreat in Conjunction with the Practice of Buddha Vajrasattva
Once we make a connection between our intentions, actions and experiences as the main cause of suffering, problems and happiness. We may wonder is there anything I can do about the negative intentions and actions already performed?
Discover four attitudes of mind that when generated as the four opponent powers and used in combination with Vajrasattva’s powerful mantra can prevent future suffering and purify our mind. Through this practice we can remove the inner causes of our problems and sufferings, and create the cause for peace and happiness.
Each December our resident teacher offers to explain and guide us in the essential practice of purification in an introductory session, on Monday evening. It is a wonderful opportunity and will be followed by four days of retreat, including a guided purification meditation during the session. With time for reading, contemplation, questions and discussion during the break.
Everyone is welcome.
