Foundation Programme Wednesday, 7 pm to 9.15 pm

The Foundation Programme is designed for students who have gained a basic understanding of Kadampa Buddhist practice and are interested in pursuing a formalised and committed study programme.

*** This is not a drop-in class. Please email info@meditationincheltenham.org.uk

Beginning a new book, Universal Compassion, September.

Participation in the foundation programme allows us to increase our personal insight and experience of Dharma. Have the opportunity to discuss and investigate more fully and come to deeper conclusions. Get support and friendship from like-minded people and gain the ability to integrate Buddha’s instructions into busy modern daily life. By making a commitment to the course, students are able to give their spiritual life the time and attention it deserves.

The Foundation Programme is taught by the resident teacher, Gen Kelsang Opel who has been studying Kadampa Buddhism for many years and is known for her clear teaching style and practical insight into these profound topics.

To join, you sign up to studying a particular text, the class is not drop in and is ongoing. Please email info@meditationincheltenham.org.uk. with your name and any questions, you may have.

Wednesday Evening: Universal Compassion

The contribution for the Foundation Programme is via a Centre Card £36 or (£25 Conc) as a monthly contribution over the year. In this way, you become an essential and regular supporter of Akanishta Centre activities and environment which is of benefit to many people and have free access to all our activites.

No one is turned away for lack of funds, please email info@mediationincheltenham.org.uk if this is something you need to discuss.
