Working through Change
We are faced with a great deal of change and challenges in our lives and in our work.
You can request a meditation session with Gen Opel, our Resident Teacher, for you and your work colleagues.
This can be a one off 35 minute session or a course of 4 meditations at work. We can deliver these face to face or live online via video-conferencing which may be particularly helpful if your colleageus are working from home.
We want to offer businesses the chance to give their workers mental space where they can feel safe and secure, giving them tools to feel more peaceful, together and stronger. The way meditations will deliver this is by teaching people how to train the mind and offer tools to approach the constant change we face.
To discuss booking this for your workplace please email email@example.com to arrange and to find out more.
We charge a three tier amount for groups of up to 30 people at a current introductory rate:
£60 per session,
or £40 per session for not-for-profit organisations.
By donation for school and grass root community projects.
As well as supporting the local community by offering Buddha’s teachings and advice on how to live a peaceful and meaningful life, Akanishta Centre tries to exemplify the Buddhist faith through public service. When requested practitioners from the Centre visit those who are sick, suffering or dying to offer prayers and spiritual advice. At the Centre we regularly engage in prayers for peace for the benefit of the suffering, sick, dying and deceased.
