“My children say I am a much calmer person now. So if your children give you that accolade, meditation must have had some effect.”

“Learning to meditate has increased my patience, especially when I encounter problems. It has helped me to see things from a different perspective. Things that previously might have been an issue are now just seen as simple speed bumps and not something that knocks me off track. ”

“Meditation calms me down and gives me a different perspective that perhaps I didn’t have before. I have a much deeper understanding of situations and I can really stop and think before acting when I’ve got a problem. Instead of throwing my hands up in the air when I have a problem, I can now sit down and work through things calmly, which I think is very helpful.”

“I see things more clearly now. I can take a step back and think about things in a much calmer way after attending the meditation classes. The teachings on training the mind help me to see life differently. Meditation also helps me to battle my demons!”

“Before coming here I didn’t have a very good routine but the act of just coming to meditation class every Monday calms my mind and it sets me up for the week. I have noticed that now I choose to relax in the evening and I have become more mindful of how I do things.”

“Since learning to meditate, I am more disciplined, I get more done, I am more grateful for what I have and I’m just generally happier. This of course improves all aspects of my life, including being at peace with myself. Sometimes, we have judgemental thoughts towards others, but now I try to be more understanding and not judge.”
